How I Manifested Seeing a YouTuber
There he was on the streets of NYC.
Welcome to the ultimate fangirl story.
I arrived in New York City not feeling myself. My energy levels were off. My inspiration was low.
With a half of a cappuccino I drank from Blue Bottle I felt inspired again. Warning: caffeine makes me wild. I do not recommend drinking it :).
I left an interview and began walking onto the New York City streets. I was heading to buy leather pants. If you wear them every day you should probably have two.
The Beginning of the Journey
The moment I began walking I had this thought go over my entire body. I was going to meet a celebrity. But more specifically, someone who is a YouTuber. I have the biggest amount of respect for many YouTubers and influencers as YouTube empowered me to begin my journey in all things creative when I began making videos in eighth grade.
I started looking around at everyone who walked by me. In this short walk outside of my interview, I saw street style that I have never seen in NYC before. It was surprising and made me feel like the world had paused while I continued to walk.
I continued to look around me. I didn’t see anyone I recognized. Is that someone I know? Nope. Shoshana, you are seeing things. I put that thought in hiding for a bit.
Walk the Walk
I continued walking to get my leather pants. Overheard people talking about their weekend plans and where they went to dinner last night. Still no signs.
I arrived at Union Square. To avoid it, I went to a street over to escape the crowds. Am I a real New Yorker? No definitely not.
I thought about being a New Yorker again to not walk alongside Union Square. I thought of going down an extra avenue and then it looked too long. Too out of the way. So I continued walking. Leather pants I am coming!
I was walking at Union Square W approaching 17th street. I had just passed a McDonalds where a lot of kids were running around outside. I pass the crowd of kids.
Then…
I SPOT THE PINK HAIR. THE CAMERA.
Chris Klemens was standing on his old corner right across from Pret-a-Manager at 18th. What do I do? Just keep walking?
No. I went right up to him. He was filming a video and I ran in front of the camera.

Why Chris
I have watched Chris’s videos for a few years and he has always made me and so many laugh around him. I have followed him more closely since he launched Middle Kid Supply. I have a clothing brand and love to follow and support people’s first collections as they begin the crazy process of starting a brand. I wish Chris the best of luck and to “keep pushing” for everything as I said in the video haha.
How to Manifest
I continue to learn what this means. These moments have happened very often to me in 2020 where I think about positive things and THERE IT IS. Keep dreaming ☁️
